  1. Christmas means free cookies.

  2. Christmas means a lot of different things to me. First of all, it means those red cups at Starbucks. Second, it means my annual crab-cakes and martinis lunch with my all-time hag. Thirdly, it means gettind hammered at my aunt’s super fancy, super-fun holiday party. Fourth, it means Baking day at my mom’s house, which could be retitled Rediculous Family Drama Day, but who cares. Most importantly, Christmas is a time of year that you can reunite with family and friends you haven’t seen in a while, to do something good for someone you don’t even know. It means driving around from mall to mall and store to store jamming to your favorite band covering classic carols. It means putting the real-world on hold for just a second and pretending that Santa can and will come on Christmas Eve night.

  3. Christmas may mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. For kids its about opening gifts that will put big smile on their faces for parents is the satisfaction of seeing their children open gifts that will put smile on their faces. For grandparents is the act of bringing the family together. For friends is having fun playing games, drinking, remembering times with old friends and making plans for what is to come in a few days. This all translates into just for one day forgetting about everything that may upset you and just thinking about what you’re living for and how life may be too short to dwell over little things… and of course free cookies… 😉

  4. Christmas to me is the time of the year to feel obligated to provide kindness, generosity, and even at times hospitality. Not to just family members but everyone around you including your community. Think about it, we work all year round providing for ourselves, our special someones, our family and friends, but we often forget about the community we are all involved in and what they have done for us the entire year to make us so grateful for where we live. Giving the gift of laughter through presents to children who are less fortunate has been one of the biggest goals in my life. It makes them feel as if the magic of Christmas does exist. No one has to tell them where it came from but they will always know that someone is there watching over them. We also have many charities that take place for example the national ring a bell from salvation army. I have stood outside ringing bells many times in my past to raise donations to provide Christmases to families in my area. No matter how cold it gets it’s my time i’m really donating to prove to them that they are worth it to me. I really enjoy the Christmas season because of the opportunities we have to exploit the problems we face in the communities. These problems/issues can be worked on in the following year to further progress the society into a more positive place.

So what does Christmas mean to me…

It’s the time of giving the right gifts to everyone to increase happiness and improvements in our own lives to make us better people.

  5. Christmas to me means a time to feel the spirit of joy and peace. Christmas is a cozy and festive time. It is a time to reconnect with friends and family and it’s a reminder that we are all capable of being giving creatures. It’s about enjoying the time you have on this Earth and forgetting those bad feelings you might have towards someone.

  6. Christmas means going broke! Hehe.
